2 of my closest Little friends tied the knot today, I am so very stoked for them. Hannah made such a stunner of a bride and as for her man, well he definitely doesn’t fall short in the looks department  too :-)

Hannah was very much a hands on bride, so thank you for all your help Mrs Little, and another massive thank you goes to Casey, our oh so preggers friend, we couldn’t have done it without you.

I managed to rope the guys into helping with the set up too.. Our groom ended up in the tree to help with the pom poms and ribbons.. Kennedy, my husbant, Mr Shirley.. THANK YOU!! Your guys were a huge help and you helped make this Little Day very special :-)

Wendy + Michael : Moroccan Magic

Wendy + Michael welcomed us Labola Ladies into their stunner of a home so that we could put together this Magnificent Moroccan Themed Engagement Party for them… It was so much fun to be able to use such bold colors and fabrics for the decor.. doing the flowers were our favorite part of their function, not only did we have absolute freedom with flower choice but we got to spend the day with Wendy and her family white we were putting the arrangements together. Bodil and I ended up enjoying the party with Wendy, Michael, their family and friends. Thank you so so much for allowing us to be such a very big part of your function!

Another huge thanks to Ros + Rich from Olive Twist, they absolutely blew our minds with they delicious food and brilliant staff from ServePro. The barmen from Thirst also did a fantastic job, making sure everyone kept their party faces on all night!

Hannah-Banana Hens Party

that was the theme that we went with for this little ladies bachelorette party and what a elegant party it was..

Good job to Casey, Kelly, Mrs Tuck, Lauren and Meeeee for all the pretty bits ;-)

We had a another one of our secret craft parties while the hubbys made dinner and watched rugby ;-)

Labola in the Bush

Bodil and I went on a little road trip to Hluhluwe with Alexis Yapp to go check out the venue for our first bush wedding this year!

We had so much fun on our little Labola day out, we are looking forward to going back to Zulu Nyala next month for Janlyn + Grants Big day!

Thanks to Alexis for the awesome company as well as to the staff at Zulu Nyala, we had such a lovely time there, accommodation was great, food was brilliant and the animals are super!!!

kelly + Neung’s wedding

Kelly + Neung live in Thailand and are such a relaxed laid back couple. Kelly was so relaxed about her wedding that she willingly passed on decor planning responsibility onto her mom. Kelly and her mother Louise have such a special bond that Kelly could easily trust her mother to make all the right choices that would fit her and her future hubby’s personalities. Their wedding started out as a small intimate garden wedding and quickly grew as family and friends were eager to help them celebrate. We had the pleasure of doing the wedding at their family beach cottage in Westbrook. The garden was filled with orchids specially ordered just for their big day. Their wedding was all about Thai meets West…the decor, the favours, the catering, the music, the wardrobe…ever little detail was thought about and planned to perfection. Thai silk and small Thai trinkets were flown in and hand made to make the wedding extra special. On her wedding day Kelly was so relaxed and ready to get the celebration started. We really enjoyed working with Louise through this whole process and we are so glad that Kelly (who we only meet the day before her wedding) was as pleased with everything as her mother was.

Nicole + Wes @ Hotel iZulu

Nicole + Wesley tied the knot today at Hotel iZulu.
Nicole did a stunning job with her attention to detail, their wedding was full of super sweet stationary bits that made their decor very personal.
She is a fan of tulips and so the pressure was on for Holland to fulfil our flower order! Thanks heavens for good weather and good luck, we were able to surprise her with tulips on every table.

Special well done to Wes and his boys for doing such a great job with the fairy lights!

Caseys Baby Shower

My dear sweet pretty friend and her hubby will soon be parents.. here are some pics of the oh so pretty baby shower that we threw for her. Wendy + Derek @ Breakers Resort

We we lucky enough to be a part of this super awesome couple’s wedding day! We did the decor for them at the wedding reception at Breakers Resort in Umhlangha. They had fallen in love with the idea of Bali inspired decor and so we kept the flowers bright and tropical.. Derek was super handy and made the awesome wooden boxes for the flowers, as well as the table numbers, menus and little wooden votives.. and yes.. we imported some beautiful sarongs to use for “napkin detail”. It was an absolute blast being a part of this special day.. special thanks to Breakers for yet again being so fantastic.. and to Mrs De Goede for the yummy wedding cake sample :-)

Hey Everyone..

As most of you would have noticed, Bodil and I were unable to be at our bridal fair site all weekend, we had a Wedding out at Cato Ridge. We did pop in at our stand when we could but for those brides that we were unable to have a one on one interaction with, we are truly sorry and hope that it did not deter you… We hope our ladies that we had standing in for us have directed you to our website.. And once again we apologise for not being there ourselves.
